This month, Jack’s Place celebrates a true-blue employee and truly blue cuisine.

NEW! Flavors of the French Riviera

Making its debut this March is our Tuna Niçoise Salad featuring fresh spring veggies. Our take on the classic dish features seared rare tuna, brine-cured niçoise olives, haricots verts, hard-boiled egg, and roasted fingerling potatoes. Try it and other new menu items this spring.

Happy Birthday, Robert Frost!

March is the birth month of Robert Frost, born in 1874. The iconic American writer is the only poet to receive four Pulitzer Prizes. His work often detailed the small joys of rural life, as in his 1914 poem “Blueberries”:

Blueberries as big as the end of your thumb,

Real sky-blue, and heavy, and ready to drum

In the cavernous pail of the first one to come!

And all ripe together, not some of them green

And some of them ripe! You ought to have seen!

Take the road less traveled to Table 14 to dine with Robert Frost.

Recipe of the month: Frozen Rosen

Ripe blueberries aren’t the only “real sky-blue” culinary delight.

March’s featured cocktail is the “Frozen Rosen,” a colorful take on the margarita.

1. Pour 1.5 oz. of Casamigos Blanco Tequila into a shaker or blender with ice.

2. Add 0.5 oz. VEEV Açaí Liqueur and 0.5 oz. of Blue Curaçao.

3. Add 0.5 oz. of agave nectar and 5 oz. Island Oasis margarita mix.

4. Shake or blend and serve in a sugar-rimmed glass. If serving on the rocks, add ice to glass.

5. Garnish with lime.

Tara Spann

Shatara “Tara” Spann, our fine dining server, comes to us from sunny West Palm Beach, FL. She has lent her generosity to the hospitality industry for over 18 years.
Reflecting on her time with us, she says, “Working for Rosen has truly been a different  experience for me. Each day I learn  something new, and I hope to continue to grow within the company and inspire those around me. It’s great working for a company that values its employees.”

Tara’s caring and resilient spirit extends far beyond the walls of Jack’s Place. She is a mother of two and the CEO of Dads Fighting Cancer, a nonprofit that supports men battling cancer, as well as their families. When she’s not serving our diners or the community, Tara loves to travel, sing, read, and shop online.
