Rosen Shingle Creek will be celebrating the holidays with a calendar of events filled with pleasure to awaken all of the senses. From Thanksgiving Day through New Year's Day, the hotel's holidays will feature a feast for the eyes, as well as for the palate and music to sooth the soul. Visions of sugar plums, gingerbread, candy canes and more will fill the lobby with the first Gingerbread Display Competition featuring creative displays by local chefs and pastry enthusiasts to benefit the Florida Hospital Transplant House. Enjoy a flurry of holiday activities and events at Rosen Plaza including the new Winter Fest Beer Garden, Saturday, December 6. Sample craft and seasonal beers and international cuisine with old and new friends accompanied by playful holiday entertainment throughout the evening. Or rock into the season with the American Cancer Society for the first-ever Chair-ity for a Claus Rocking Chair event. Local businesses will feature creatively decorated chairs themed to their favorite holiday book or story. Mrs. Claus will be on-hand for a special kick-off event on November 25 to roll out the rockers, which will be on display throughout the hotel's lobby through December 26.
